NATO EOD COE Adopts HazMasterG3
As a key part of training NATO forces for the challenges posed by the identification, processing and disposal of home made explosives, NATO’s EOD Center of Excellence has incorporated HazMasterG3 as part of their new Advanced HME training course curricula. This week long course employs the latest training, tactics and procedures to prepare NATO forces when facing the expanding threat of home made explosives, their precursors, and associated hazards. Recognizing the broad skillsets required to successfully address the complexities of HME scenarios, NATO has followed the lead of the US Army, and incorporated HazMasterG3 as a knowledge force-multiplier when training for and prosecuting these scenarios. Students leverage the unique tools, analytics and decision support capabilities in HazMasterG3 that are key to countering the threats posed by home made explosives, their precursors and the resulting improvised explosive devices employed by terrorist groups world-wide.
